Game Title Note: This privacy policy applies to the game "Half Dead: A Zombie Story Game" distributed on Steam (PC/Mac) and Google Play (Android).

Thank you for playing our game. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our application.

1. Information We Collect

The game does not collect any personal or device information through our own code. The app has no backend servers, no user accounts, no login, and no analytics SDKs.

All of your in-game data (chapter progress, settings, language preferences, save data) is stored locally on your device using standard platform storage (PlayerPrefs on Android; local files and optional Steam Cloud on PC/Mac). This data never leaves your device through our app.

2. Platform Services (Not Controlled by Us)

The platforms that distribute the game may collect minimal technical data on their own behalf, independently of our app:

Google Play Services / Steam — Handles in-app purchases, app distribution, and platform-level crash reports. We do not receive personally identifiable purchase data; we only receive a flag indicating whether a purchase is owned. See Google's Privacy Policy, and Steam's Privacy Policy.
Google Play Games Services / Steam Achievements (where enabled) — Handles achievements and optional cloud save synchronization. These are operated by the platform, not by us.

3. Advertising & Tracking

The game does not contain any advertisements. We do not use advertising SDKs, and we do not collect or share any data for advertising or tracking purposes. No advertising identifiers (GAID) are collected or accessed by our application.

4. In-App Purchases

The mobile versions of the game offer a single optional non-consumable in-app purchase to unlock the full game. Payments are processed entirely by Google Play. The Steam (PC/Mac) version is sold as a single one-time purchase. We never see your payment details. We only store a local flag on your device indicating whether the full game has been unlocked.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all data at any time by uninstalling the app. We do not maintain any server-side user databases and have no data to delete on your behalf.

6. Children's Privacy

The game is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

7. Data Security

We value your trust in providing us with your data, and we strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. Remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
